Wall Displacement

2011.

Precise geometric intervention in the exhibition space emphasizes the perspective of illusion, through the fictional shift of wall surfaces.
These formations exist entirely in the second dimension and create a barrier between the space as the volume in which the observer is located and the walls of that same space.
By drawing and painting directly on the wall and floor, and with the physical connection of the socket and its outline, imagination and gaps merge in a unique form. Between illusions and realities, questioning mechanisms of perception, the observer is left with a manipulative space for interpretation.
